TLC's Parent Portal is secure, password protected and accessible from anywherethere is an Internet connection. Coming soon you will also be able to register for all other TLC programs via the Parent Portal. Using the Parent Portal is easy and all the directions are provided in detail below.
TLC PRE-SCHOOL 2012-2013
Registration for TLC Pre-School is now being done online via the TLC Parent Portal and begins on Tuesday, January 3rd, 2012. Carefully review this information prior to accessing the Parent Portal.
TLC FALL 2012-2013
Registration for TLC Fall 2012-2013, Grades K-8 will begin on March 1st for current TLC Families. On this date you may visit the Parent Portal to view important information and also to submit your application. If you have any questions please feel free to contact the office at 203452-9626.
First, visit TLC's Parent Portal and complete the sign up process in order to receive your password (this only needs to be done once).
TLC's Parent Portal Sign Up:
- Your PRIMARY e-mail address is needed in order to complete this process.
- Visit TLC's Parent Portal Page at: https://parentportal.tlctrumbull.com.
- From within the Parent Portal select "create a new account" on the left side.
- Complete all the fields and click "submit".
- You will receive an e-mail containing your password information.
Next, follow the Application for Registration directions.
Application for Registration: TLC's Parent Portal is used for the application of all children in your household. An application MUST be completed for each child that you wish to register for TLC Pre-School. You will need your primary email address and the password you received from completing the TLC Parent Portal Sign Up.
- Visit TLC's Parent Portal Page at: https://parentportal.tlctrumbull.com.
- From within the Parent Portal, login as an "Existing User" with your primary e-mail address and password, then click "login".
- If you are not already in our system you will only be able to click on "Begin Application for Registration".
- If you have previously been entered into our system, select the child you wish to register from the "Children" list and then select "Begin Application for Registration". If you do not see your child listed you must select "Begin Application for Registration for New Child".
- Click on the "Semester" and "Days" desired for the TLC Pre-School Program.
- Complete the required fields and be sure to correct or update any information that may already be in the form.
- Electronically sign the ABSENT PARENT'S CONSENT FOR EMERGENCY TREATMENT FOR MINORS and the AGREEMENT. You will be redirected to a page where you can print these documents.
- A confirmation email will be sent to you stating that the application for registration has been received and is awaiting approval. The email will also contain any additional forms that are needed to complete the registration process.
- Your application for registration is not complete until we receive your application fee and all required forms.

- Only after all fees and supporting documents are received will your child will be registered into TLC's program.
- TLC will inform you via email of your registration status beginning January 30th.
Please remember that it is vital that your primary email address is kept updated in order for your family to register for TLC Programs. Registration is on a first come first served basis, but as always, priority is given to: returning TLC children and their siblings and Board of Education Employees. Delays in submitting all required documents and fees may result in your child being put on a wait list or not being able to attend TLC. |
