Trumbull Loves Children: Programs

TLC offers four types of programs: TLC Pre-School, TLC Kindergarten, TLC Elementary, After School Program (ASP) for middle school youth, our summer programs Camp TLC and TLC Pre-School Camp.

TLC Pre-School
TLC Pre-School is tailored for 3 and 4 year olds. This program is located behind Daniels Farm School, 720 Daniels Farm Road. Application to register for all TLC Programs is done online via the Parent Portal found on the Registration page.

TLC Kindergarten
TLC Kindergarten is intended for children who are currently enrolled in Trumbull Public School Kindergarten. Going beyond the typical before or aftercare program, TLC Kindergarten also provides your child with fun educational experiences. This program is so popular that we created a TLC Kindergarten page full of information for parents and their children including registration information. TLC Elementary
What does your child do at a TLC center? Have fun. Socialize. Make friends. Read a good book. Join others in a game. Spend lots of time outside. Eat a healthy snack. Get help with homework. More importantly - be a child. TLC centers provide a safe and caring place for your child.

We are fortunate to have our own TLC rooms at each of the elementary schools. The new Fun Zone center for 4th and 5th graders is located behind Daniels Farm School. We also provide specialized programs for your kindergartner. Application to register for all TLC Programs is done online via the Parent Portal found on the Registration page. ASP
TLC offers an After School Program (ASP) customized for the needs of middle school students, which is offered at both Madison and Hillcrest Middle Schools. CAMP TLC
TLC's camp choices are specifically designed to meet the needs of your child's age: Camp TLC K-3 (K to 3rd), TLC Daniels Farm Camp and Jane Ryan Camp (4th & 5th grades), TLC Fun Zone Camp (6th to 8th grade), and TLC Pre-School Camp (3-5 year olds who have not completed Kindergarten). Afternoon Explorers Camp is offered to children (K to 5th grade) attending Summer Explorations.

Parents can choose from a full-time 5 day program or a part-time 2, 3, or 4 day program. Our summer camps are very popular and enrollment is on a first come first served basis. Camp TLC typically begins at the end of June (dependent upon the official last day of school). Be sure to visit our Camp TLC page for more information.

TLC Pre-School Camp
This fun camp is designed for 3-5 year olds who have not completed Kindergarten. Children must be 3 years old by April 1st and potty trained. TLC Pre-School Camp also begins at the end of June (dependent upon the official last day of school). Visit our TLC Pre-School Camp page for more information.
